Pas de Vie Ballet, a Tallahassee-based non-profit organization, is a semi-professional company of dancers, directors and sponsors dedicated to the preservation of the art of dance through the education and inspiration of today’s youth. Each year as part of its community outreach, the company offers abbreviated versions of its productions at reduced admission to local schools and groups, which is scheduled this year as follows:

The performances, approximately one hour in length, will include a glimpse of the “behind the scenes” action and a lively question & answer period with the choreographers, dancers and crew. We would like to invite your group to attend these productions, which will delight children of all ages.

Many children have never had the chance to take a dance class or attend a ballet in a theater. We feel that young people are inspired as they observe their peers creating a world of endless imagination and storytelling through a disciplined art form. We hope you will take this opportunity to bring your students closer to the wonder and excitement of dance and theatre.

Seating for these productions is limited. Shows typically sell out months ahead. We encourage you to reserve seats for your group as soon as possible. The ticket price remains $5.00 per student, as it has been for over 13 years. Two chaperones per class or group will be admitted free of charge.

In celebration of Pas de Vie’s 25th anniversary, we are offering free advertising in our 2013 “Spotlight on Dance” performance program to any school or group that reserves 50 seats or more to both of the above performances. This would be an excellent opportunity to spread the word for a special event, summer program or regular school enrollment. For groups that would not benefit from program advertisement, we will provide free admittance to four chaperones per class to “A Taste of Dance.”
